Appliqueens

Hand applique is a relaxing technique that opens up a wide range of quilt designs. This soothing hand stitching allows you to add beautiful decorative elements to your quilt projects, from lettering and design motifs to flowers and animals. Mastering this technique will introduce you to a whole new world of design options and embellishments for your quilts. The Appliqueens are a group of quilters who love the art of applique. We meet every Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Sewn Together Quilt Shop. This group is not a "how-to" class but a gathering for anyone who enjoys hand applique—whether it's needle turn, freezer paper, or wool (no machines). We come together to work on our own projects, share tips, and enjoy each other's company. There is a weekly $5 store fee to attend. If you're interested in joining us, feel free to reach out to Sheila Osbrink.

Accuquilters

AccuQuilt is an excellent tool for both beginner and experienced quilters. It is fast, easy, accurate, and safe, simplifying every step of your quilting cutting project with die cuts of various designs and sizes. This group meets quarterly to share their die cuts and enjoy the camaraderie that quilting groups offer. The AccuQuilt Friendship Group gathers at Sue Russell's home, with meeting times announced at general membership meetings and posted in the newsletter. For additional information, please contact Sue Russell.
